Somehow I didn't lose on the golf - a runaway favourite winning a major could have been a massive loss - but I equalised Rory on Thursday night Friday morning and indeed had a great book on who would come 2nd with all bar the top 8 in the betting winning me £10k + and even the favs were small winners.
I decided to relax by taking a night off from cash tables while watching my hapless golfers (4 of my £10k + crew got down below 20/1 but it wasn't to be with a tie for 3rd (runner up in the without Mcilroy book) the best they could muster. Was a little dull as the TV pics were way behind the betting so I cracked open a few MTT's including the Sunday million. All in all 2 x £215 1 x $55 and 1 x $100 on merge. I cashed small in the $55 at about 11pm after donking out of the Million and hilo events on stars earlier. Left with only the $100,000 Guaranteed on Lock poker I didn't hold out much hope with only an average stack and 160 left out of 750 starters. However at 4.52am after some decent hands a hell of allot of holds and a few suck outs later and I am now $20,000 richer....
Was a bit awkward 3 handed ($20k 1st, $12k 2nd and $6.5k 3rd) with me on 1mill, crazy loose Chip leader on 2 mill and other guy hanging in at 250k-500k for a while but when I re raised CL's raise all in with AQ and he snap called 77 the site threw up the glorious AKQ flop and I was huge Chip leader...... when I got heads up it was 3mill to 750k and i took it down confidently....

Ps, 2 days after my last update had my biggest ever horse win when I nailed the tricast at 4000/1 on the Belmont Stakes a week past Saturday night. Also had the forecast and won on the outright by just going for the big outsiders as the track resembled a muddy swimming pool and upsets were on the cards!
All in all a good few weeks to head to USA with ---- might even hit a Vegas event now!!!
